|Recommended: YesReally Nice nterior — Very good living accommodations and amenities. Great pool clubhouses.
|Recommended: YesI really loved Velocity — Velocity is an upscale apartment complex in East Village. It is a calmer vibe- definitely a place I would recommend for people in their mid 20's and higher. I thoroughly enjoyed living in Velocity, the amenities are amazing and the people are very friendly. I also love the location, it has easy access to the highway and being walking distance from all of the East Village shops and bars is a plus as well. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to live in East Village.
|Recommended: YesThe obvious choice for East Village living — Upscale, comfortable and friendly. A great experience from the start.
|Recommended: YesBeautiful amenities both in the apartment and community areas. I love how close it is to the riverwalk area and all the nearby greenspace that goes with that for walking my dog.
|Recommended: YesThis is a very nice property to live at. — Living here was a great experience. It is in a good part of Des Moines and the building is very nice.
|Recommended: YesSolid — Great place to live, you pay a mortgage in rent but you get what you pay for.
|Recommended: YesFantastic property and fantastic staff. — I would tell them that the construction quality and amenities are more like a high-end condominium association than a typical apartment complex.
|Recommended: YesI like Velocity — Velocity is a fantastic property. Parking won't be easy, but it's a great place to live otherwise
|Recommended: YesParking could be a lot better. Portal is nice but it was better when it reported to our credit and before we could set up a payment month by month for different dates and we are no longer able to do that . — Location is perfect the staff is very friendly everything is very clean .
|Recommended: YesThis could be the jewel of the East Village. — The property is top notch, couldn’t ask for anything better. The general everyday management need to do better as in daily check lists and walk through to see and anticipate what the needs of the residents will be. Example I had a family guest on Sunday August 18 and we cooked out on the rooftop patio. This is one of the best views in the area and right in the middle of the floor was a large pile of dog crap. It was still there Monday late afternoon when I got home and checked. The door on the north side of the parking lot next to the garage door is broken. It looks like someone jimmied the lock and it is still broken. Not very secure feeling.
